2020-12-15 · I'm afraid this mod does NOT resolve the immersion-breaking issue of everyone referring to Cicera as "He" or "Him". I hope someone will come along and fix this. If not, and I ever find the time, I'll see if I can edit the audio files so this problem is solved, too.

I'm on the "A Cure for Madness" quest from the Dark Brotherhood and when i go to Cicero's room his journals are missing, which makes the quest non-completable. i have seen journals missing before but didnt payed much attention. what happens is that any journal that is suposed to be left somewhere for the player to find are missing from their spots. a took it one step further and went ahead to add Cicero's journal into my inventory via console commands, but of course it changed nothing. i

Here is what I know so far: Killing Cicero,-You can search his body and get his armor. Letting him live, -You can get him as a follower. -With the pickpocket perk, Perfect Touch (can pickpocket equipped items), you can get his armor.
Plus he helps you rebuild the brotherhood training the newbs and "cleaning" the night mother. Its bad enough you have to be the listener you dont want to be the keeper as well. Since you can pickpocket him and receive higher grade gear at the Dawnstar Sanctuary, it is really not lucrative to kill him. If you have completed the quest line for the Dark Brotherhood, and Cicerio is still alive at that point, he will indeed become a Follower. Leaving him alive thus results in more benefits for you During the quest "A Cure For Madness", you have the option to kill Cicero or let him live.
