Students are given “answer cards” to hold up to answer questions during class that are projected on a screen. Plickers happened to be one of those tools. I was prepared to use them - I even had the cards printed out - but I just didn't have the right opportunity. Luckily for me, I had an awesome colleague ask me for a recommendation for a review tool for an upcoming science test. I happily set her up with Plickers and gave her my set to use. Plickers lets you poll your class for free, without the need for student devices.

I’ve been using PLICKERS for years now and I can actually see how students enjoy this activity. They are more active and they love seeing their results in real time making it easy to review whether their students understand the lesson or not.
